The largest you can find. Look around first. I have a female CA boa about the length you mention, and let me tell you, it may be small for an adult boa, but it isn't small. A 5ft carpet python seems alot smaller because of the boa's girth. In my opinion, look for the biggest underbed storage box you can find. FYI my female is in a 3x2 cage (floorspace dimensions), and I don't consider that overly roomy, but a smaller enclosure would be fine as long as you have really good temperature control. I've seen boxes with inside floor dimensions of around 34x14 inches, and that might work. My opinion. I also tend to keep snakes in cages that are larger than many breeders' setups, so take my advice with that in mind.
