sand, as a substrate, shifts a lot. you need to make sure you have a basking spot that is anchored to the actual bottom of the cage. maybe do a flat basking spot, a stack like robyn @ pro exotics does, that offers the uros a lot more options for thermoregulation. ----- 1.3 Uromastyx Maliensis (Ricky, Quinn, Anna, Drusilla)
