The top part can detatch from the bottom for moving it.

The plant is a golden pothos that has been growing in there for over a year and has never been changed or taken out. I guess Sal helps with fertilizing it though I wipe most of the feces off it some must be getting in the plant because I do not fertilize it.

The blue tub at the bottom is a cover with a top made of the same plastic wire as his cage. Inside is a warm air humudifier. It gets hot so the cover is for Sal's protection. It is a nice humidifier like hospitals use and has a UV bulb in it to kill bacteria.

Sal only wants to drink out of a fountain so he is my only cham that has one and I clean it and disinfect it often. He learned to drink out of it before I found this forum or the info that they are not good but He never defacates in it probably because I do not put many perches over it.

The cage is on legs and has a metal wire bottom same size holes as the rest of the cage. Under the cage are plastic underbed style storage bins that catch the water from a misting system (Mr Moisture) and a dripper he rarely uses but I fill daily anyway.

The whole thing is about seven feet tall and three wide and two feet deep. The bottom has a door in the center for cleaning and the top part has the front panel on hinges so it opens for cleaning also. The hinges are on top and it swings upwards to open. It has a shelf on the left side for the fountain and his pyrex measuring cup for cup feeding is hooked up there with a vine and some wire. That is where he was headed as I took the photo. Its not the prettiest cage but is very functional and Sal likes it and It only cost about $150.00 for me to make and I got quite a lot of cage for that price. All the wood is sealed in polyurethane and is either painted or stained.
