I bought some flies from skipio's and am very pleased. They do fly, although a few do hatch out with deformed wings. I found that if you cool the flies first(I keep them in a large jar in a sunporch that gets no heat and is uninsulated, so that it is about 5 or ten degrees warmer than outside(which is cold here in Ohio durring the winter), then you can easily take them out and tear off a wing. If you have a lot of chams this could take a while, but for a few it works great. You only have to pull off 1 wing, not both. You can get several thousand pupa at skippio's for like 10 bucks, its well worth it. Hope this helps!
