Posted by: MR_ANACONDA28 at Thu Dec 18 10:53:08 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by MR_ANACONDA28 ] a big monitor needs a huge cage. after a year nothing beats a extra bedroom i have gotten 2 waters from PE (great little critters) i keep them in 40 gallon tanks while im building there cage. im lucky enough to have a well heated barn that i curently keep my snakes in (wifes idea not mine) the pen i am building is 15x10 with a doggie door that can be shut for the winter months because it gets real cold in nourthern indiana. the out side pen will be just as large and have a large water garden pool in side of it. i cant wait till its done, or my babies to get big. not every one can do this type of cage. every one i know that has these great monitors ends up with converting a bedroom. a 8x4 plywood cage is fine for argus monitors but remember a water will get 8 feet. good luck any way. | ||
