Posted by: Amk2109 at Thu Dec 18 15:35:49 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Amk2109 ] You have a spoiled dragon : ) I introduced wax worms to my beardies shortly after I got them just for a treat. Well it became that they simply refused to eat anything but waxworms and greens w/vege's. Giving them waxworms is like giving a child candy, they can never get enough. I stopped giving mine waxworms for about 2 weeks and would give them other options and they refused to eat for about 1 week and then they realized it was just salad unless they tried other things again. Now I give them greens every day and I alternate between crickets/mealworms/waxworms/superworms. What i usually do now that I have them eating normally is I will give them a couple waxworms along with crickets/mealworms/superworms and if they only eat the waxworms then they go hungry that night and we try again the next day. Trust me this works and I have three chubby little dragons to prove it. [ Hide Replies ]
