The best way to tell is to look at how much contrast there is between the saddle color and the background color.



Anery A's tend to have sharp contrast. The background is much much lighter than the saddle color.



Anery B's tend to have low contrast. The background color is closer to that of the saddle color. Anery B hatchlings will sometimes look as if they have blush on their cheeks as well.



Yellow is NOT an indicator of Anery A vs B. Anery B's can show yellow (although it is less common), and Anery A's can lack yellow entirely.
