Find out where they originated. Then, take a fresh fecal sample to a vet. They can identify any intestinal parasites present and decide what specifically should be used to treat them. Many dealers "shotgun" chams hoping to kill the major ones. But, without a fecal you'll never know for sure. Small populations of some parasites are not a big problem and the treatment could be more damaging to the cham. Some people let their new chams acclimate and rehydrate for a couple of weeks before treating, as the drugs are rough on kidneys. If the cham is generally active, eating and drinking this may be best. | ||
