Washed Playsand or Millett are fine on their own.I suppose you could mix em but it serves no additional purpose other than to make the cage look messy and you have the potential for your Uro eating a lot of sand when it picks the seeds out of the mix.Probably not a big deal but some people are quiteparanoidof impaction, so keep that in mind.

I'd personally go with either on their own.I've used playsand for my little guy without any problems, but i'm planning on trying the soil mix that Robyn has been recommending.Looks like an exciting new idea that should pan out very well.
