I could see a wild mouse with parasites that may be transfered to the snake but that isn't the kind of thing where the snake is going to be dead the next morning. It would be more like two months later the snake starts loosing his appitite.
Your concerns for your snake are good and admirable, your concerns about bad mice are unfounded. Your snake is a lot more vulnurable to the wrong temperatures, a dry water bowl, getting dropped when you handle it, injesting substraite, the family cat or dog, an eagle crashing through the window, a meterite, super nova, nuclear winter, Osama bin Laden.
