For what it is worth a very well known leopard gecko breeder and author once told me that the number of leopard geckos killed by flexwatt misuse and/or malfunctions was in the tens of thousands.
It's not clear how many were due to fires and how many were due to plastic fumes from melting plastic.
On the other hand, the number of leopard geckos raised successfully on flexwatt probably dwarfs the number killed.
Food for thought... I have no way to support or reject these numbers.
