Sorry if you already mentioned this, I'm on a dial-up connection and did not want to go back and read all the posts.
Regardless, an ambient temp. of 75* will likely work well with these cages depending on what species you go with. The HDPE will not conduct heat along the length of the cage as well as, say, PVCX but that is actually *better* in some cases.
My suspicion is that Animal Plastics cages will work fine for you. I've now seen a few of their racks and two of their 4' cages. I really like that they ship their stuff unassembled to save on shipping costs. The quality of the joints is good, making for easy assembly.
