I'm glad you found your solution, and I'm sure both you and she are much happier now. I do think, though, that you have to keep in mind that although your point is well taken, that not every guideline applies uniformly to every animal out there, you also need to be careful about opposite generalizations. Your girl thrives on being held, which is great. But that doesn't mean that everyone should ignore all warnings about handling and start carrying around their geckos in their pockets. Excessive handling can and will cause some geckos stress and fear, may cause them to drop their tails, or to be overly aggressive. Is this true for all leopard geckos? Of course not. But just because it isn't true in your case doesn't mean it can't happen.
