It is ribbed on the bottom to prevent the veggies sitting in water, and you can adjust level of ventalation. It came out like 5 years ago and I used to use it all the time. Then again I used to only have to feed three iguanas. I basically have been getting my greens daily here. I was able to keep prepared chopped Iguana salad (greens, acorn squash, yams, parsnips, green beans) fresh in the fridge for up to a week and a half, and uncut fresh for almost 3 weeks. One thing to do is wash and DRY your greens before placing in the fridge. Wrapping in paper towels and replacing when they are wet also helps. | ||
