Problems shedding

I have a boa that is about 6-8 feet long i and he seems to be having problems completeing its shed. About a week ago i soaked it for about 45 min and then put it back in its cage and it shed all the way up to his head. However, it doesn't seem that his head shed is seperating from the old skin. Ive tried soaking, but it doesn't seem to help. Humidity sits around 85% and temps are in the low 80's. Any ideas would appreciated.
