If you have a large Rubber-maid type tub or other plastic enclosure that you can secure him in (with ventilation) you might soak a large bath towel and place it and your boa in the tub for an hour or two. Wring the towel out so it is wet, but not soggy. I've found this method to be useful for problem sheds and the snakes usually take care of it themselves. Good luck!
