mealworms or superworms yet. They are to hard for them to digest much before 4 -five months, thats the age we start giving them fresh shed supers and then regular ones. Wax worms are really high and fat and beardies systems do not break down fats very well
Due to the high amount of chitin in them, we never use mealworms, superworms do not have the same amount in them that the mealworms do.
If you are giving them pellets, that will meet their protein needs for now, you might want to talk to JoelR on what he feeds with pellets, he has had good success with raising babies to adults on them. ----- www.reptilerooms.com
