Free roaming is usually ok (even though we only do it if absolutely necessary) as long as you are willing to provide a room with a door so other animals cannot get in...you may also have to search a little bit for you reptile friend if he decides to venture far from the tree.



The are usually very easy to find...the go straight up as high as they can go...



As far as the color...there is proably not enough light in the room. Our chams were going the same color until we bought a 48" fixture and lit them up...now they are bright green!
