Animals have a heated floor end of the cage but generally like to stay on the cooler side when not gravid/ digesting. DTH is about 82 ambient temp as well. I have heard that Dave Barker noted with his half inside/ half outside cages in Texas that large retics would not come in out of the cold at night if they felt in a secure spot - for better or worse and would sometimes drop into the mid to high 50s F at night- high risk for respiratory problems especially with low humidity! | ||
