I have Saharans, which are supposedly very tolerant of tankmates. I had the female to begin with, so they both moved into her tank. What Doug Dix advised (and what worked very well for me) was to give them a 15 minute warm soak together, mix the furniture up in the tank (so it's new territory for both), then introduce them to the tank at the same time. Watch them for several hours to be sure there's no aggression. After that, check them frequently for signs of fighting - roughed up scales along the sides, etc. Separate them immediately if there is any sign of aggression.
Mine ignore each other - or at most treat each other like furniture.
Good luck! ----- Torey
