Do these same rules apply is you keep non-native snakes. Could you get a Yellow Rat Snake or a Texas Rat Snake and not have to get permits?



I live in Virginia, so I don't have these problems. I have Black, Yellow, Gray, and Texas Rats, and they are all nice snakes. I just got my Yellows a few weeks ago from TerryP at Kern, and I can tell you for a fact that he produced some very nice Yellows last year. You might think about getting a non-native E. obsoleta if that will keep the government out of your life.
