I am warming up my male Russian rat. He stopped eating August 2003 and went in hibernation end of October. I kept him at 50F (11 C) untill two days ago. I am slowly bringing him back to 70F.





Can you believe the size on him after not feeding for almost 6 months?





Picture of last spring. No weight lost huh?





In 2000 my female Russian died while egg laying. I started over with a new female. She is obviously a lot smaller than the male. I hope that will not be a problem. I will introduce her in about 10 days.





She is quite stunning too.
