I knew Lumpy wouldn't live a normal life, but I didn't think he'd go like this...

I am sitting here at work and I just got a call from my husband who just got home. He said he saw some commotion over by Tina and Lumpy's cage and he got up to investigate it. Tina had Lumpy's head in her mouth! By the time my husband could pry his poor little head out of her mouth he was already gone. Poor little guy. I feel so bad. They got along so well and never showed any aggression towards eachother. Tina always slept right next to Lumpy as if to guard him. I think I'm in shock. I still don't belive what my husband has just told me. I don't want to go home to see him. I should've separated them! Tina is about an inch longer than Lumpy and 20 grams heavier. I had no idea something like this was possible from a small beardie like Tina. Please, everyone, be careful how they house their beardies. I only kept Lumpy with Tina because I was afraid he would die of loneliness. Now I guess I won't have to worry about that.

RIP Lumpy
