Hi! Congratulations on your new adopted beardie!
The toes look fine to me, although it was a bit difficult to tell from the pictures. They may look strange, but that's the way the are!
About the throwing up: I've personally not heard of beardies throwing up from stress, but I can't tell you for sure that they don't. Did he have enough time to bask after he ate those crickets that came up? And was the basking temperature high enough (around 105F)? I think most likely he somehow didn't get a chance to digest the crickets and mealworms properly. Anyway, now that he's thrown up there's not much to do about it. Make sure you keep him hydrated though. Throwing up could dehydrate a beardie if you're not careful! Give him a soak, og at least mist him, and get him to drink some water.
