I myself am completely hopeless at identifying snakes. But I'm really curious to see how many people know what this is, as I hear it's often misidentified. Besides, this forum is kinda slow in the winter! I don't expect anyone to get the species, just the genus, as I'm not completely sure what the species is myself. This specimen is approximately half grown. And no fair guessing if you've seen me talking about her!

-----
"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."
