I want to thank each and every one of you wonderful people for your input, info, and the phone number of the Doc. I am almost 100% sure that it is adenovirus, all of the symptoms are on the dot, and I'm pretty sure I know which dragon is the original carrier because everything was fine until she came into the picture. If she turns out to be the one, I will release the name of the breeder I got her from so others can avoid buying his animals and going through the same heartache. I have her in hibernation now but I will be waking her to make a trip out of town, I found a vet about 100 miles from me that is a reptile specialist (sappost to be anyhow). I'm printing out all the info on this virus to show the vet. I will also be contacting the doctor that was mentioned in the posts. It is a relief to have a better idea of what is going on, I'm not as clueless as I was yesterday.

I seriously thought about giving up beardies because this illness has drained a great deal from me....watching them die and not being able to do anything to help them, but I tried to imagine my life without beardies and I don't think I could handle it! I do plan on starting over with my dragons, though I know it will take some time because I have a long and draining road ahead of me having the others tested, and I can't even bare the thought of having some (maybe even all) of my dragons put down but I know that is probably what will need to be done.

This is all so heartbreaking and draining, as much as I love Lucy (the suspected carrier) I wish that I would have never got her. Anyway, thanks a million to all of you wonderful, caring people for the replies, you will never know how much I appreciate it! Thanks, Christy
