Hmmm....not sure. I just poke like 10 or so holes in the cold end only. The holes are small. Just made with a small soldering iron. Ball Pythons don't need a ton of ventilation. They don't respire like you or I do, coupled with the fact that they are somewhat fossorial (for lack of a better word) by nature. Too much ventilation, and you'll defeat the purpose of using a Rubbermaid in the first place!
