So i purchased the tropic-aire humidifier & air exchange and since then- perfect humidity! the only thing is... this product increases the humidity in all parts of the tank, what you really want is a higher humidity in the warm hide over the undertank heater. So what I've done to create a sort of "humidity regulation" is pull the tubing through a hole in the back of my hiding cave on the warm end and then cut the rigid tubing that releases the humid air so that only 2 holes dispense the humid air (compared with 3). I do this just to make the rigid tube fit in my hiding cave (so it's not sticking out). I have found this technique to work great for my BP and he can move to his hide in the cooler end if he wants less humidity or move to the warm humid end
