Egg laying in hibernation

I have a '99 Western Hognose in hibernation since Dec 1st, today while changing the water I noticed that she had shed her skin and also had laid one egg. She has NEVER been in with a male, this will be the first year for breeding.

How unusual is this to happen ? Could anyone shed any light on this for me ?
