i have been waiting for your reply to my jan.17 post. i also wanted to know why you do not like the finch food substrate. without your input to my last post, it seems the only explaination that i can come up with is that this is brumation activity. at this point i just need to know about the substrate,the nighttime heating source, and figuring out an appx. age. other than this my mali (ZION) looks as though he has a promising future. thanx for your reply. laura
