Georgio,Robyn... hydration issue?

I like Georgio's hi-tech hydrator, but would this be a problem in an all glass tank (150gal) with an under-tank heater? I'm worried about the bottom cracking. I realize I'm not throwing cold water on it, should I even be concerned?
