It's just a way that water can slowly seep into the soil and not have a chance of running into his hole or causing similar damage. You still have to know the unique requirements your tank has to keep the moisture in the soil. I don't think you have to worry about the bottom breaking except possibly by the undertank heater. With so much dirt on top it will insulate the heat and make it hotter on the glass than normal. [ Hide Replies ]
