Could be the temps. I had my first colony come about by accident, I didn't even realize i had baby worms until i went to change the bedding. They were sooooooooo tiny that it wasn't them that i actually saw but the movement in the bedding once i got the beetles out. My second attempt at breeding went well but it took forever for the worms to get big enough to feed. i think it was the temps, to cold. Try keeping the beetles warm.
Hope that helps Oh, i said the worms were small.....like a string of hair. They might be there but you can't see them.

>>I've had a beetle colony for over 2 months now & have yet to see single mealworm baby. What gives? I've got them on 1" of gutload w/ fresh water sources regularly.
