No, unfortunetly, it's alot more complicated than what a "Pet Store" could perform. The $55 fee is probably including the office visit, which is customary. The money spent will be well worth it to have your Uro checked out by a proffesional. However, Vets are like anything else you purchase. Find one that is familar with and has treated reptiles if possible (in your area). The last time I had to send a fecal to be analized it cost me $18. But, my Vet knows me. Never hurts to befriend your Vet! You will have to do this again after treatment to ensure proper results, if the first fecal comes back positive.
