If you can, take the branches out of the enclosure, wipe the mold off, and put them in the oven under the lowest temperature possible to dry them out.



These newts like it a little on the dryer side. Try just having a plain screen top for air circulation or cut back on the humidity. This way you're likely not to have any more mold issues. I don't think mold in itself is harmful to them, but mold usually happens with a lot of moisture.
