If there are other animals housed w/ him, seperate him immediately. You can wash the wounds w/ hydrogen peroxide, use antibiotic ointment on them (w/o pain reliever, lidocaine is deadly to newts). You can even use fish tetracycline tabs in his water. Keep the water clean. Feed him regularly. The missing parts will grow back w/in about a month in my experience. Best of luck! [ Hide Replies ]
