I unfortunately lost one newt & one newt's leg when I had African Dwarf Frogs in w/ my firebelly newts. It's just a bad idea to mix species. It's very possible he'll live. Mine did. Just pamper him & keep the wound clean. I kept mine aquatic while he healed, w/ just one small spot to get out of the water, so he had to soak in the Tetracycline. [ Hide Replies ]
