Mealworm Beetles Fly?

I read one post saying you don't need to keep lids on the breeding container, this would sure make it easy to keep track on them, but I also hear the beetles fly... Any help is appreciated...



BTW how fast do they breed? I only need enough for 5 geckos, will one or two tubs full be enough?
