To take the deli cup idea one step further...

...I put them in the flat end-cap available for 4" diameter PVC pipe available at the hard-ware store. They're about $1 each. I also use smooth round black granite river stones in the bowls to keep them heavy to avoid tipping and spills. I use ONLY the black ones because they're easy to disinfect. SJM
