animals are usually overcrowded at stores...
the general rule of thumb, i think, is that for each six inch land animal, u need 10 gallons. So, u generally cant put 10 animals in a 10 gallon tank. you need to consider the roaming area; factors such as the amount land and water volume, and also how much land surface area, which includes surfaces of plants and the tank, for climbing animals.
if ur really concerned, u need to think about how crowded these animals are in the wild, and the odds are, that most of the time, they arent crowded at all.
