Hey. I'm happy to say that everything you mention is completely normal. A retained shed on an eycap or anywhere else for that matter would be very obvious. It sounds like your snake shed fine. Also, the suprise he left you is completely normal. It's not poo at all, but something called urates. Snake poo looks like poo...brown, solid, overall "turd-like" in appearance. Urates are metabolic wastes analagous to your urine that snakes excrete in a sloid form. I've had large adult BPs excrete a ball of urates about the size of a golf ball. Urates are normally whitish/yellowish, and sometimes even cotain some blueish/greenish constituents, and hard as a rock. Sounds like you're doing great. Keep up the good work, and don't worry too much.
