One, no. I have a humid hide and I don't mist etc. I do cover the top...but they are in 50gal breeder tanks and it helps.
Two, not in my experience. I have had snakes shed at the end of a fast and THEN kick into eating. I think other things come into play besides size and growth. ----- Sonya
