Are these small marks or long streaks running tail to nose? What third of his body are they located? It could be anything from burns, to blisters caused by the substrate, to blood poisoning. If they're long streaks you need to get the snake to the Vet. a.s.a.p.! This is blood poisoning and it won't be a cheap fix. You can host the pic you have here on the site, so we can get a look at it.
