Might be a good idea to switch to aspen or newspaper for substrate and see if it passes.



If it doesn't pass, a vet trip might be in order. A lot of people dread a trip to the vet, thinking it's going to cost hundreds of dollars, which for a snake is simply not the case.



Try a clean substrate, maintain a good 72 - 82 degree gradient, and see what happens.
