I didn't loose a Ball but I did loose a Gopher Snake. He was gone for over a month. I did the same as you. Looked high and low and everywhere in between. Then one day we found him in the hallway trying to get into the vent to the heater. He's probably curled up somewhere tyring to get warm. He will eventually come out when he's damm good and ready (*_*).
