I try to keep the PH anywhere from 6.0-7.0, 6.5 being ideal. You can buy chemicals/powders that will raise/lower your PH to get the correct reading. Another "natural" way to lower the PH is by adding a piece of driftwood and/or some aquatic plants. As the driftwood and plants rot they will lower the PH. [ Hide Replies ]
