Be patient and try not to worry. Your python needs to get settled in at it new home first. If it eats on demand then great, but if its not, then just continue to offer food weekly. Ball pythons can go a long time without food. Feeding at night is good but many ball pythons will eat almost anytime. It can be frustrating to owners of ball pythons, but this is normal snake behavior. The snake will feel more secure as time goes by.(like I'm a herp pyschologist or something). LOL. It's more important at this time to make sure your temperatures are within range, humidity, and make sure it has hides. Try not to hold it too much while its adjusting to its new enclosure and good luck.
