I had a feamle that I housed with her mate (before I knew this was a no-no) She threw 4 clutches without displaying this behavior (at least that I seen) but I recieved a new male and they could see him across from they're cage and when I removed her mate and put the other male in she responded this way but there was copulation. Of course there was also a head bobbing contest for 2 days prior to me introducing the other male.



I think if anything the male isn't ready yet and it may be due to the lack of another males presence? Just my thuoghts and opinion, and like I said I could be way off base as I've only had experience with that particular breeding.
