Are you thinking of the 3 cages in the far right of the picture?

Those look to be the old Neodesha cages. I think these where some of the original commercial snake cages. The company stopped for a while and I think may have restarted up, possibly under different management. Some knock the old cages as the plastic has started to crack (my four have cracked anywhere they get high heat) but you have to realize that some of those cages are much older than any of the newer stuff. Hopefully the plastics are better now but we'll have to wait another 10 years to see what the newer cages do.

I hadn't heard of the Neodesha's being preferred by hot keepers but I guess the sliding glass might be better than a swinging door. Maybe it's just that the hot keepers have been keeping longer and own older cages. However, it did make me think of a story about visiting a friend who used to keep hots in Neodesha's. I was visiting him and he wanted to show me a pair of albino cobras he had together (for breeding I guess) in a Neodesha. He picked up two snake hooks and then slid the glass open. Both snakes launched out at the same time and he was doing his best to hook them both back as I bravely ducked out the back door. I figured he knew what he was doing and I knew I didn't have any experience and I don't think he had any more hooks so I just got out of the way. He managed to get them both back in the cage without getting bit. Not that I ever considered keeping hots but seeing the difficulty in managing a breeding pair and how aggressively they launched out of the cage made an impression on me.
