That snakes looks a little bit dark for a FL gray rat, but it could be one (they are variable). If the snake is from FL, it won't ever turn completely black.

I doesn't look like a greenish rat. By the time a greenish rat gets to that size, it almost invariably is striped. Your snake doesn't show the striping typical of most Greenish Rats I have found.

Frankly it looks a lot like the ratsnakes I used to find when I lived in South Carolina which where Black x Gray rat intergrades, basically a dark Gray Rat.
